Synthetic EJ Brushes?

Hey guys, I just bought a synthetic silvertip Edwin Jagger and a tube of Palmolive from the bay for 15 quid. Been thinking about getting my first synthetic for a while for handiness when I'm moving around or just can't be arsed soaking my badger.....and I've been meaning to try the famous Palmolive but never did. It had to be done. Only thing is, I didn't look at too many reviews of the EJ synthetics and I also couldn't find so many...
Originally I was thinking about getting a Yaqi or Razorock etc but here we are!
Anyways, just wondering if any of you guys have used these brushes and your thoughts? Reassurance would be appreciated!

EJ uses the same fibres as MÜHLE. I believe if your brush has the black fibre, it's a mid-low range fibre. It will do what you need it to but lacks the characteristics of the G4/G4 fibres. If your brush has the Silvertip fibre hair (i.e. it looks like badger hair), that is probably the best synthetic hair on the market today. I'd like to own a MÜHLE/EJ silvertip synthetic someday.

I have three of them.

The two on the left are 21mm knots. Same knots just different handles. Far right is the 23mm.
Great brushes. Fantastic. Spot on. Perfect for face lathering and those who like to splay and mash.
Not as dense as a Simpson but definitely not floppy. Nice and soft.
The Muhle are the same fibres just more expensive and they are just slightly more bulb shaped than EJ's.
I had the Muhle 25mm but sold it on. Nowt wrong with it I just found it too big for me.

In 2014 yes, today no. It's Stone Age compared to current YaQi & DSCosmetics brushes.

I've never tried a MÜHLE to debate this but my understanding is that the MÜHLE fibre is a G4 (the original) and is highly regarded by those that use them alongside the Chinese manufacturers.

Interestingly I've never gotten on with the dscosmetics brushes but I enjoy my Yaqi brushes. The Mew Brown is a personal favourite.

I probably have 20 synthetic brushes, ranging from Yaqi, APShaveco, Frank Shaving, Oumo and TurnNShave to Razorock, Muhle, Simpsons, Shavemac and EJ.

I didn't keep the first Muhle I had. I found it overly pokey. I have a Rudy Vey Muhle which seems better. Both are/were quite a different shape from the EJ 25mm STF. Muhle is more bulb to EJ's semi-fan. I prefer the EJ handle to the Muhle too.

The EJ is very close to the best brush in my pile. I'm affected by my personal flavour-of-the-month, which at the moment is the TurnNShave Hawk, but I keep going back to the EJ.

I've recently purchased a 25 mm version of the EJ stf and like most new generation synthetics it is an excellent brush. It lathers very easily and feels great on the face, sure it's not as soft as a cashmere knot, but it is far from Stone Age in comparison to the current new gen synths. I've used it twice so far, but I'm going to take it on a tour of all my software from sticks to creams. Very impressed so far.
