Rockwell 6s/Model T or vintage Gillette adjustable

I haven't used the Model T and would personally go for a 6S over the vintage Gillettes. I like the weight and solidity of the 6S plus I find it easier and better to shave with. That's not to say the Gillettes are bad, everyone will have their own favourite and I bought a Super 84 recently which I'm quite enjoying

If you had to choose, which would you choose and why ?
Thanks

Before offering us a choice between "pistols or swords" you would be better served by telling us how long you've been DE shaving and your honest admission of your skill level. You cannot "hardware" your way into a good shave w/o good technique & prep.

Point taken. HaBe been DE wet shaving now for 2.5 years and while I would describe myself as an expert in terms of skill level I do believe that my technique is good ( hardly get weepers any more). Started out with an EJDE89 but then progressed onto a Black Beauty, before also trying out the FatBoy and Slim and using the Gillette's in rotation. I then acquired a Merkur Mergress, which I love, as just found it more efficient. A friend of mine suggested trying out one of the Rockwell adjustables, as he knew how I felt about my Mergress, hence the reason for my question. And yes I do like an adjustable razor, can't help it. Gillette's do still get used just not as often but will be keeping them for nostalgia. Would just like to have 2 Modern, efficiient and well made razors to use in rotation.
Hope this explains the question

I'd been considering a new razor, of which the rockwell 6S was in the list. I ended up going for a gillette slim. It will be easier to sell at a similar price rather than loose money on a new razor if I decide I don't like it.

Already have a Slim but felt that while I will still keep it, the Rockwell adjustables May be more efficient razors.

I would recommend the 6S (or even the coloured versions). Its finish makes me think that it belongs in a plumber's toolbox but its performance is outstanding.
I get great close shaves on even baseplate #2, and #4 is as high as I need personally.
I believe it performs so well partly due its weight; it kind of forces you to take measured slower, longer stokes.
I have the matt 6S finish but am envious of the newer black matt finish but can't really justify the extra expense of buying it twice just because of the newer finish.
I have a Gillette Slim adjustable but the 6S blows it away. I do like my Merkur Progress, which always delivers a better result than I expect.

The thing with adjustables is that when I find a setting I tend to stick with it so effectively becomes a non-adjustable with moving parts.
With the 6S you can find your preferred baseplate and you've got a robust, dependable, easy to clean razor suited to your requirements.

Other than cost what's the difference between the 6C and 6S ?
And the finish. The 6s is a machined matt finish.
