Online privacy

Yes, I'd be interested to know - you can DM me if you don't want to say in the thread. Whenever I search for email providers there aren't many who meet my needs, so I'm curious. At one point I used Mail-in-a-Box with a VPS, but deliverability seems to be an issue with IP addresses from VPS providers.
I don't mind, just please keep in mind that we (my family) are very "low requirements" customers... the one we use for a longer time is runbox.com - you have to pay per mailbox though, but other than that I'm happy with them. (Using one's own domain is free for one domain.) I recently started using mxroute.com - more flexible and cost effective, but also more 'opinionated' (ie you may want to google some stories about them).

I've just had a look and I see runbox offers unlimited aliases per custom domain, which I like. My main stumbling block when I've searched for providers has been where the number of aliases allowed has been too small.

I wondered when you used the word 'opinionated' if you might be referring to MXroute. I use them too with some lifetime accounts! They pride themselves on deliverability. Did you know you can use Crossbox for free with MXroute, and therefore Nextcloud?
