Missing in Action/AWOL Packages

DPD have done it. I am home, no door knock or intecom buzzing. My parcel has been left outside No 3, 30 metres away. Strangely it's not there. Why not leave it outside my door if you want you want to drop and run!

Unusual for DPD, I've never had any problems with this company, maybe a new employee ! Regardless of my experience with this company it's not good enough and I can understand your outrage. P.

Delivery systems in general confuse me. Ive received items from Portugal ordered at a later date than items ordered form the UK. The UK posted items still haven't arrived....both sent through Royal Mail..how is this possible:unsure:

DPD did it again. On Sunday morning I received an email to say a delivery was due on Monday. Whilst I was out on Sunday morning, I received an email at 11am to say the item had been delivered with a photo of the front of my apartment block. I actually read the email at 3pm. I called DPD on Monday who said the parcel was back at the depot. Today, I called after not being given another delivery slot. Allegedly the parcel has been returned to Hong Kong.

I have no idea who the sender is. Was it abandoned in the street and stolen or has it been returned to Hong Kong? I haven't a ******* clue!

Covid has been the very excuse all parcel services were after.
i came home after being out all day to a small soap parcel sitting at my front door completely sodden with the rain.
They really don’t give a sh1t.
Covid has created a shower of lazy bastards that have nothing better to do than dump parcels without any concerns or consequences.
Another parcel i received was in my empty stinky wheelbin, with no letter through the door to tell me.
The consequences were i reported not receiving the parcel & a week later i was told it was in the wheely bin.
To late i said it’s now at the local rubbish tip,
so i had to be reimbursed because the driver couldn’t be arsed writing a note telling me where it was

This sort of thing has happened pre-covid stuff.
I remember I ordered some stuff off Amazon...it got delivered to somewhere else in my town (no where even close). Had a replacement sent and then a week later, the first original was delivered by the persons whose house it was delivered to

I've now got into the habit of when I come home, checking all the wheelies, under the garden benches, under the garden hut and the gutters for any parcel deliveries!

I’m actually doing the same it’s a shambles.
Covid has created 1000’s upon thousands of delivery jobs and the money the receive is poor.
They need to deliver something like 50 parcels per day before they start earning.
so it’s a case of get rid as soon as they can.
Mind you i have to stress iv had some very good ones recently
