Fatip Grande Gentile, bought this year, it's my daily driver

You buy both Open Comb and Testina Gentile, so you have two different base plates. To avoid clutter just keep the base plates handy to swap between. Put your extra top cap and handle in a drawer somewhere. If you wear out the threads in 10-20 years, start using those.

It would be an efficient open comb design. Right now I have Old Types, NEW, Fatip and R41. If it were to be one razor I'd probably get a Timeless .95 OC based on the reviews.

Karve with plate B

I've almost done that, in that I now only have one DE which is the Karve, and one SE which is a Schick Injector.

I'd almost stopped using DE, favouring the SE blade thickness and better shave. Then I got a Karve, and it's all I've used for 2 months.
