Anyone use face scrubs?

I use St Ives apricot scrub every other day. If I don't use it I get razor bumps or ingrown hairs. It's a great product, the only staple of my shaving ritual. I wouldn't mind changing my razor, brushes or soaps but I will always keep St Ives scrub (and Persona Lab Blues). It's only £3ish as well

Bit of 3P pre-shave on the stubble before the shower
Hot shower, leave the 3P for a few mins in the steam
Bulldog scrub, wash the face in the shower
Then out and shave

Fandabbydozy... no lie.

A couple of people have mentioned the Elemis scrub, and since I'm nearing the end of my Bulldog tube I'm tempted to try a different brand. £26.50 for 75ml though, strewth! Is it worth the money?!

I find the razor scrubs my face more than enough so I stay well clear of such things. In fact, I don't wash my face before shaving, just make sure it gets a thorough warm water soaking in the shower and sink prior to shaving. There's enough soap going on my face with the shaving brush without giving it a going over with soap beforehand. YMMV and all that.

I use Elemis once a weekend. Is it worth the money? No. Would I stop someone for buying it me? No (apparently not). Bang for buck, go for the St Ives (used to be called Aapri) it's made with peach stones and is damn good stuff. You'll probably find it in the women's toiletry aisle of supermarkets not the blokes - but it is worth a punt!

Not really no :) It's nice but I wouldn't pay that for it. I got mine as a Christmas gift from my parents. I use Rock Face scrub on a regular basis nowadays. It isn't as luxurious but then it is only a fifth of the price (ish).

I found Elemis pretty good, but St Ives and Clinique much better, the St Ives used to make a 'fresh skin' but believe that is discontinued, seems anything that works or is too cheap in the medical world is being discontinued.

I have used St Ives before and it was ok but makes my skin a bit irritated after, unless I'm scrubbing too hard. Usually use Bulldog but Boots aren't doing 1/2 price offers at the moment, and was tempted to try something else. Guess I'll just keep loitering around for a bit!

I use clinique and kiehl both and they both are brilliant,
the clinique is little more firm but does a great job while the kiehls is little soft in consistency but leaves a fantastic after wash feel.
