What would you say is an affordable Titanium Shaving Brush?

So i've been having many many discussions with Steve of Alpha Shave Co regarding the use of different metals for shave brushes. And one of my comments to him was how it would be blooming amazing if there was someone who could bring together a project to produce a Titanium brush that was not only sexy looking, but also amazing quality and more reasonably priced than anything else on the market......

My thoughts were even more focused on this after seeing this example of our last GB brush the Outlaw in Titanium.

So I set Steve a challenge:
1) Scale down the Outlaw a smidge to a 26mm (more people appear to favour this size as a sweet spot)
2) Make it a price low enough for Titanium that would have you thinking how is he doing this.

Steve has created a page to get peoples thoughts and get a sense check of his ideas.

So do you guys think.
Would this just be another high end brush that only a few want?
Or is it something that would make you say Wow at that great price give me 2 lol.
Are my assumptions even correct that 26mm is a sweet spot for many?
Do any of you own Titanium hardware?

I have a few titanium things, but not brush handles.

In contrast to my recent burst of razor purchases, I haven't bought a brush since I don't know when.

However, I would certainly be interested in a Ti barbershop-handled 26mm brush, at a reasonable price. I've switched over to synthetic knots, so that would my choice.

I don't "do" FB or other social media, and am thus unable to comment there, but I like the idea. Thanks for raising it.

I'll keep the thread updated, I believe it will be offered with a SHD fan Manchurian or a high end synthetic. It will probably be offered as a handle only as well

Sounds good. I'll stick with the thread on TSR, rather than repeating myself on "the other one", but please take it that my interest as expressed here, applies equally there.

I may say wow that's a great price give me one but I will first need to know that price, I have a figure of £250.00 in my head for the whole brush but I fear it will be more than that and rule me out. Keep us informed, thanks. I to do not do the social media thing so all info will need to be gathered here. P.

I know it is not a selling thread - thanks to Mem though for mentioning it. The complete brush will come in at way below $250... I am sure Mem will let you know.

I have my Ti Paradigm SE and the brush would be a nice pairing, at the wow price! :) P.

Will this page be open to express an interest in this brush to be bought at a later date or is it going yo buy it now? P.
At 5pm today or just before Steve is going to give me the address of the sign up list page. Its not facebook and you don't need to join up to sign up.

The list is not the purchase, so no money changes hands until Steve is ready to ship.
You'll get a choice of handle only, so buy and knot whatever you like. A top end synthetic that Steve is still working on securing, a SHD 2band fan Manchurian same quality as the ones being sold by Maggards.or you'll be able to have the handle knotted by Steve with your own knot.
