Treat dura sharp

I love Carbon blades and have used Durasharp in the past. Treet Tez and Silver are not as sharp. I have just taken delivery of the Classics and have had a couple of amazing shaves with one. Ok that is not many....but I usually have to change a carbon steel blade after 2 shaves and this one has more to offer. Sharp and really smooth!

Just an update. I have been using the Classics regularly and have to ask.....are these carbon blades? It doesn't mention carbon steel anywhere on the packaging and they don't rust/tarnish the way the Durasharps did......they are a great blade though. I use mine in 1/2 DE blade razors and shavettes.

I found a chap on B&B who posted that he emailed Treet to ask if the Black Beauty (known to be carbon) is the same blade as the Classic, and the reply was indeed that they were. So, we must assume that the Classic is carbon. Connaughts also list them as a double edge PTFE coated (so, not the same as the Black Beauty) carbon steel blade.

Oh, on the wrapper of the Classics, it says it's a "hi-tech blade", whatever that might mean. Coated? DuraSharp are also PTFE coated. Conspiracy would say that the DuraSharps are also the same blade.

The Treet Classic is definitely a Carbon Steel blade.
Well I am fairly sure they are! They also list them on Razor Blades Club as Carbon.

Hello yes I like these Treets and the black carbon ones too. I buy a little alcohol spray on ebay and use that to clean the blades afterwards so never had rust issues. Doing that I find i can get 6 plus shaves out of them due to the carbon holding an edge for longer i guess. The fact they are cheap is good too.
