SOTD: Saturday 9th February - Friday 15th February 2019.

Edwin Jagger 89
Gillette Rubie

proraso eucalyptus pre shave
proraso eucalyptus
Arko
Simpson Special Best Badger

proraso eucalyptus balm
proraso eucalyptus after shave

On repeat, from the speakers 'Such a night' from Elvis. And believe you me, appropriate!!

A few turns with the Arko stick true the Wimmie bowl for a solid base and a tuft of Proraso for the Simpson to turn into ... well just look at the picture.

Fresh Rubie blade in the good old ED89 and three lovely passes left daddy smoother than smooth can be.

A pile of mails to go trough but first a cappuccino with ....

Have a nice day everyone.

Vintage brush / Maggard synth.
Stirling "Wintergreen" shaving soap (sample).
Seygus "Zeppelin" V.2 (gap 0.9 mm).
Personna Lab Blue (8).
Alcolado Glacial.

Seygus Zeppelin - gap usage:
0.7 mm - 1
0.9 mm - 1

Used the Seygus with 0.7 mm gap yesterday, today the 0.9 mm gap:
The 0.7 mm gap felt better than the 0.5 mm - less efford for a little bit better result.
The 0.9 mm gap was just a bit too aggressive, and caused some small damage.
One or two days with a mild razor, then the 0.9 mm gap will have 1 more chance ...

Sunday 10th February

Pears Glycerine Soap
Proraso Sensitive Pre Shave Cream
Creightons Ultra Rich Shaving Cream
Yaqi Black Marble 24mm Synthetic Brush
Turkish Copper Bowl
Wilkinson Sword TTO with a Gillette Rubie
Simple Facial Toner
Al-Reab Oudy PO

I haven't posted for a few days due to the on going Conjunctivitis which developed into an Opthamology Emergency due to my A&E missing a couple of corneal ulcers. I have been using fragrance and alcohol free products and razors which I could use blindfolded (which you could probably say....I was). The Creighton's cream is very slick and 3 passes gave me an excellent finish.
The Simple facial toner has been a good discovery. Full of lots of goodies like Lucky Tiger....but no fragrance and a fraction of the price!

Taylor of Old Bond Street Eton College Shaving Cream => this has a very elegant smell. And its other qualities are not too shabby either :)

Kent Blk 8 brush => I think this is a very interesting brush. Pair it with a hard soap and it fails miserably. Then again, put it next to a cream and it's a bad ass brush.

Gillette Super Speed with Gillette 7 O'clock green => one shouldn't change the wining team.

AS: Proraso Green => something more down to earth for a chilled back Sunday.

Have a great weekend, y'all!

West of Olympia 'Pride' rocked up during the week... definitely a premier league soap, and I must admit that I'm really looking forward to the release of the remaining soaps of the 'Seven Collection'...
