+1 re Futur setting
I used one exclusively for over seven years, and setting 3 was the limit of my comfort zone.
How anyone can use one at full tilt is beyond me.

What do you make of the Nivea Body Shave Stick ?

the Nivea stick is superb - face lathers really well with the Yaqi - smell is fairly neutral. At £1.49 from Home Bargains it's the natural successor to the Palmolive stick for the title of traditional shaving UK high street champion product. :)

Wash with Ach Brito Glyce
Lather up with Erasmic Shaving Soap & Ever Ready 600N Lucite w/Tuxedo Synthetic 24mm
Shave with Gillette Tech (1960s) Kaloderma Advertiser & Treet Platinum Professional (1)
Single Pass, Hot Rinse & Cold Rinse
Pinaud Clubman Classic Vanilla

Much thanks to @Dcshaves for the Erasmic Shaving Soap, complete with sheepy goodness (Lanolin). Cheers!

Having bought in some of these single blades for my ROCNEL SE-P I've rather taken to using them in regular DEs. Now, you might be thinking the tension in the blade is all wrong (and you might well be right), but it does work. More importantly, I quite like it ...

Soap Catie's Bubbles Ocean Grove
Brush DS Cosmetics 26mm Badger
Razor Yaqi DLC
Blade Elios Inoxidable 2nd
Aftershave Special Thayers Mix
Hyaluronic + Reuzel Wood & Spice
Fitting soap for the occasion. Acceptable lather, scent and slickness. Nice brush for face lathering.
Shave with razor and blade combo was very comfortable. Sharp and smooth. 3+1 multiple passes without any issues. Between bbs and dfs. Good aftershaves! 9.5/10 rating.
Side note: Really liking this blade...

Prep: Valobra Glycerlanolina soap, Myrsol Emulsion
Brush: Semogue Owners Club LE 2012 Mixed Badger/Boar
Soap: Murphy & McNeil Crann Bethadh
Razor: Wolfman WR1
Blade: Vintage NOS Personna P74 (8)
Post: Thayers Cucumber Witch Hazel; APR Lavande Violette
Scent: B&M Leviathan EdT

The very fougère-influenced shave. The Crann Bethadh is a very fresh outdoors style fougère, whilst the Lavande Violette splash is a darker and more exotic variant.
Knize Forest is quite unique - pine dominant, but certainly not one dimensional.
The vintage P74 blade is still shaving beautifully on its 8th outing.

Sun 2nd August.
Today I shaved with a RR Hawk V3-OC having had a very nice Shave with The A plate version. I have found in the past that the OC is rather an aggressive Razor for me, as I have quite a tough beard so my Shave Time is quite lengthy compared with others who get DFS after 2 passes. When using my regular Proline it felt rather fierce and though the finish was good my face was often a bit sore.
I have now switched to using a Kai blade, and find the Shaves to be more comfortable, and today without any problems during or after got an Ultra Close finish better than yesterday. However, I would not use this as a Daily Shaver as it requires more care and attention than the forgiving Hawk V3-A plate, which is good for consecutive Shaves.
