Wow! First use of the Rex Ambassador and what a great shave. At a setting, randomly chosen, of 2, I achieved one of the best de shaves ever. Smooth and so close, think a Feather razor on your best day or a Progress/Variant but then some. This razor is likely to be a favourite, thank you to The Gentleman's Groom Room for the excellent service.

Had another go with the Enoch today, the Shave finish in most areas was better than yesterday as I spent more time on polishing up work, though perhaps not enough around the Chin. Though I like the looks of this Razor it is not so far delivering the quality Shave that I was looking forward to.

After yesterdays "challenge" with the 100+ yr old Kampfe Star i had it easy today and the big fella delivered a superb shave shod with a 9 shave Kai & still going strong.
A fantastic slick lather from the 1912, the Scottish Heather and Irish Fern are quite delicately scented and are nice to use, like the other Wickams soaps i have they don't half deliver (for me anyway), Plenty of slick, cushioning lather for the job.
3 passes for a squeaky clean, BBS comfortable face feeler.
A great post shave starting with nothing from the Alum rub, a splash of Neroli and Orange infused Witch Hazel, carrying on with the Barts Balm face medic lotion and Balm and finishing with the Mäurer & Wirtz 4711 which is really my cup o' tea, it matches really well with the Citrus Lime and i think it will always be on my shelf.
