Some British inks in the mail today

I have Onyx Black ink and it's a great black, one of my faves.
That must be Diamine's new funky labels!
I also have Bilberry, a kind of dark purple; another fave of mine.

How about showing us a sample of writing with these inks; I'd be interested in comparing them.
Enjoy.

I like Diamine inks a lot, not tried the Onyx black though. My go-to Black is Sailor kiwa-guro.

My first choice was De Atramentis Document/Archive ink, for a waterproof ink, but I went finally for a cheaper and practical solution: Diamine ink for writing with FP + gel ink pen (Zebra Sarasa/Muji) for writing/signing sensitive documents.

Looking forward to seeing the writing samples. Eclipse sounds really nice. I've only tried the onyx black in cartridges and found it really dry and very stop start. I'm currently using diamine blue black at work.

I've been a Diamine fan for ages. I seem to have acquired over 20 bottles. I really rate them, they're well behaved and consistent. Those labels look a bit more interesting than the old ones - my bottles are all really boring looking!

I, too, love the look of oxblood. I've just ordered some majestic purple which was going cheap on eBay to try in a flexy 'frankenpen' - utilising a Jinhao X750 and Zebra G nib. The nib and pen arrived today, so I've fitted them together and taken them for a quick run out with Parker Quink - works decently well but think the water repellency of the Quink isn't helping matters! Will give 'er a clean tomorrow and try again with the ink when it arrives! :D
