JUST ONE RAZOR

I have changed my mind; my orginal reply to the post was:

Rex Ambassador or Blackland Sabre L1 - too close to call :)

Now I have to go for the Karve - possibly the smoothest and most efficient razor I have used.

My GEM single edge, Made in the USA. I went off SE for a while, but came back to it and just can't fault the quality of shave along with the ease of use.

I was glued to my 37c for about 18 mths, but haven't used it for ages.

When I travel, I take my 1940s SS, simply because it fits nicely in the plastic box that my 37C comes in and I can pop some blades in the box, as well as storing used blades in the same box to dispose of properly upon return. I do get exceptional shaves with this, but that is in part due to the fact that I only take one brush, one soap stick, and one type of blade to use with the same razor. When I do that 7 days running on holiday, I get properly tuned into the combination and things really go smoothly.
