They have overpaid for a pseudo hipster brand, that just initially rebadged everything.
The only good thing is that their shaving cream is handy in an emergency. I can only see their German plant closing.

Very interesting seems like they will be in direct competition with themselves since Cornerstone went over to Edgewell
Edgewell is a real mish mash at present, private label products in the Schick line up whilst still sold cheaper elsewhere. Caliber 5 motion sphere in Walmart and German drugstores yet France and Germany have released it with the Quattro range. In the USA it's the Xtreme5. Harry's carts need a revamp, they have only had one modification in 12 years.

I actually read a new patent by Edgewell that shocked me as I had thought they had "tossed in the sponge" as regards R&D.

I agree about Harry's. They bought a crappy old blade maker and merely put new handles on them and advertised the Hell out it. The Germans cannot make good razor blades for whatever reason. Even Rommel knew that. ;)

"When I said that British fighter-bombers had shot up my tanks with 40mm shells, the Reichsmarschall who felt himself touched by this, said: 'That's completely impossible. The Americans only know how to make razor blades.' I replied: 'We could do with some of those razor blades, Herr Reichsmarshall.'"
