I had a Dart for a while before I bought the Blackbird, it's a fine razor that has been very well put together.
It is quite assertive and will make short work of any growth you may have.
I found it quite smooth in use but you will need to find a blade that suits you .
If it's a good price I would recomend buying one. P.

I got one as a present, didn't like it at all in the beginning, give me a aggressive shave. Then I read about using a steep angle for better effect and that worked really well, love the razor now.

Motivated by this thread, I decided that my Dart would be next up in the rotation. Using a Derby Premium blade, Dorian brush, and my-fast-dwindling tub of OSP Bay Rum soap, this thing gave me one of the closest shaves I've had, but what an effort!

My last few "three dayers" were Zeppelin, Game Changer .84 and Rex Ambassador, with a few in-betweens with Supply Mk. I. None of these require the amount of concentration on angle as the Dart, and I thought it had bitten me at one point (not so).

It's definitely not a razor to use if you're still half-asleep when you shave, and every time I've used it, the first day is something of a relearning process. The next two are usually very pleasant.

The Dart is a razor that seems to haver in the middle of my rotation queue, but has now made it to the front.

I decided to use it with a black 7 O'clock and Wickham's Shangri-La soap, but swap the Blackland handle for a resin Rod Neep, which changes the weight and balance considerably.

Still paying close attention to the angle, the Dart gave me a close shave, but minus the odd stinging patches it often causes. I'll use this set-up for two more days, before I decide whether it solves some of the niggles I've had with this razor.
