As for the brush, I can't personally comment on it but a number of people like boar brushes. Omega do a large variety of brushes for not a lot of money which are very well received. Also worthwhile looking at the RazoRock synthetic brushes. They're exceptionally soft and don't require the same level of upkeep as an animal hair brush, plus they're particularly good at whipping up lather.

Hope this helps!

The cream has a good following on here as mentioned above some glowing reports.

The brush I would be hesitant over, it could be a re-branded job and be a great brush and on the flip side it could be a shedder. I would go with an Omega boar or S brush (synthetic). https://www.amazon.co.uk/Omega-49-P...F8&qid=1497539248&sr=1-1&keywords=omega+brush

Around the same price and you know you have got something that is quality. As with most animal hair brushes it does need a few uses to break in and soften (and split hairs in this case). Omega S brush you can also find under £10 and is the same quality but a synthetic fibre not requiring any break in period.

I have both the Omega 48 and the RazoRock Big Bruce synthetic and agree with @nolisco. As much as I like the boar, the longer I have had the synthetic the more I use it. It's extremely easy to use once you get the hang of it (wet it, squeeze most of the water out, load it, add water in drops whilst building lather 'till you get what you want)

Thank you, I'll go with the Omega. Another question, about how long does the tub of Gentlemans Face Care Club cream last for? And also can you tell me about bowls for the brush.

I'd be weary of the cream myself, never heard of it and I don't trust Amazon reviews.
Personally I'd go for some Taylors of Old Bond Street, which I think is great.

As for the brush, as people have said before, you cant go wrong with an Omega. The '49 is a massive brush, which is great for bowl and face lathering. But they also do brushes smaller in size.
