I only changed the razor today, otherwise this is the same shave as yesterday. The lather was better today, possibly I loaded the brush with more soap. The final result was almost as smooth as yesterday, the Rockwell is a very good DE razor. Two passes and an excellent result with no irritation or fear of damage. Who could ask for more.

The question was "Will the ATT be on its game today"?
The answer an unequivocal YES.
I enjoyed that, The Proraso and Yaqi whipped up a lovely face lather then the SE1-G gave me a very comfortable BBS finish from 3 passes, i honestly believe there is very little between the L1 plate of the Sabre and the SE1-G, both give fantastic, smooth, comfortable shaves, YMMV of course, maybe the ATT has just a tad more blade feel but they shave the same. neither feel as if they will ever bite you.
If you're thinking about a new GEM type razor and you like a "Mild" shave, either will do the job, although some find both too mild depending on beard type, i suppose its down to how each look and i think both have their positives.
The Sabre is easier to load, the ATT is a 4 pice razor and it looks so cool, the thread pin being a separate small part (if lost the razor is Kaput, i always have the plug in when cleaning this part) during blade changes i do not remove the screw pin just loosening the top cap enough for it to come off then fit the blade refit the cap, check alignment and tighten up.
Stay safe and enjoy your day All.

Gillette Slim Adjustable (3)
Wolf Whiskers Tuxedo
Łódź Polsilver (3)
Musgo Real Spiced Citrus
Humphrey's witch hazel
Speick Active as lotion.

I've used the Slim almost exclusively for the last month.
It continues to impress and deliver the smoothest, most comfortable shave

Having only recently purchased a Slim, I am also impressed with its comfort, smoothness and agility. I resisted buying one previously, probably because of preconceived perceptions, it is though, a superb shaver and I am pleased I got out of my comfort zone and purchased one...

Brush - Omega 11819 (24 mm/55 mm)
Soap - Tabac Stick
Razor - Fat Handle Tech
Blade - Lancet Super Platinum (9)
Post - Witch Hazel
AS - Akcay Tobacco

Another great lather, Tabac truly is an exceptional soap and it provided enough cushion and slickness for 2.5 passes with the FHT and LSP, a really sharp blade. It reminds me quite a bit of the Gillette 7 Black.
Finished the great shave with a splash of Ackay Tobacco, a nice barbershop style scent.

It truly is superb. I'm now weighing up whether to keep my Rex Ambassador, as although it is aesthetically gorgeous, it does not shave as well, imho as The Slim, and I haven't been remotely interested in using it over it The Slim. We'll see.

...I am now looking at FB's! never thought I would be! After reading about the huge effort Gillette put into testing their adjustable's and the iterative design process they undertook, I suspect we will never again see a DE razor manufacturer with the ability to expend so much resources on design, engineering or indeed marketing. After using the Slim (and many different razors prior), I am now able to really admire what they achieved with this razor - I am delighted with the shaves it gives. That said, although the razor is clearly robust, I suspect it is all too easy to knock the blade gap out of whack, it is delicate in that sense. And I do wonder how my hard water will impact the internals but for now - one very happy Slim owner.
