@Greybeard

My singing bowl - bought in Ladakh - Indian controlled Kashmir - the second picture - a mani stone - you find them on the way into Tibetan Buddhist monasteries - typically - ranging from pebbles to huge lumps of rock. Engraved with prayers - despite the way it looks - this one was made in Largs - near Glasgow - by one of my closest friends - it takes a long time. A very long time. cheers - I.

I have to admit that I bought one with no intention of using it for meditative purposes, however, if it touches anything when I pick it up or move it or lather shaving cream in it and catch it with the side of a brush...then wow does it sing! By that I mean it has an incredibly loud and clear bell-like tone. I'd liken it to the sound that really expensive crystal glass makes when flicked with a fingernail, but to the power of about ten. I now worry that the neighbours might complaino_O:)
