Facial hair a big no no among members?

What are peoples thoughts on facial hair? Do any of you guys sport moustaches, goatee or other beard types while maintaining a wet shaving routine?

I have a sort of half beard. No side burns so wet shave my cheeks and around my neck and to be honest I don't think I'd suit being totally clean shaven (bum chin and possibly an extra chin or 2) but still enjoy the routine of a shave.

So whats the verdict?

BBS all over...
Facial hair is fine....

BBS all over for me but you do as you please! :) P.

Each to their own - I've only ever had a beard when working or traveling in Muslim majority countries - it's just simpler - for me - anything beyond a couple of week's growth - is hellish itchy. Also - because of my lack of head hair these days - double zero clippers normally - if I had a beard - it would look like my face was upside down. Whatever suits you mate - I.

I have no problem with that, EXCEPT when it comes to razor and/or blade reviews as a monkey could shave with the World's most aggressive razor on their cheeks & neck, but it's a whole new ballgame when you have to negotiate the variety of curves & corners around the mouth, nose & chin.

Fully agree with this. As I've said above its definitely more of an art to shave the whole face/neck. Different direction of growths to deal with as well.

No beard, moustache, goatee or sideburns for me. I shave every day and even just one day's growth annoys me. Even during the 60s and 70s I was clean shaven and my hair was relatively short. I did try a moustache once back in the mist of time, but it didn't last more than a few days. During the pandemic I've shaved every day and bought a Wahl clipper set, which YouTube and I have trained SWMBO on to give me a #3 buzz cut…bloody lovely and I'll keep it going forward.

Brilliant, you've found a combo that works for you and are sticking with it. I'm still in the try different styles phase but running out of options

Me too. Never understood why anyone would want hair hanging off their face. Not for me at all. The longest I've ever gone without shaving must be 4-5 days absolute tops, and that was out of laziness, but my face felt horrendous, really itchy and uncomfortable. Even by a 3rd day I start to feel like that. It seems these days that facial hair is more popular than ever. Personally I just don't get it.

If I did try to grow a beard, I bet people I know would call me a hipster and think I was trying to be cool. So many people sport beards now that it almost seems like you stand out from the crowd by NOT having one, in this case I am happy to be different! Frankly I think I would look ridiculous with a beard and it would take a really long time to grow one anyway, so happy to shave every other day at the longest

Body hair grows about 10mm a month so yes growing a beard may take time but good news is if looked after it stops itching when longer.
I'm with you on this. Don't ever remember my beard being itchy enough that I've thought I have to get this shaved off. Everyone is different I suppose.
