Cream
MacaRoot & Aloe
Bowl Timeless
Brush New Yaqi 26mm Lucky Dice 2 Band Badger
Razor RR Game Changer.84 SB Blade Tatra 7th
Post & Aftershave
Ice Water + Special Thayers Mix
Hyaluronic Acid + MacaRoot Aloe Gel
Use the New Brush won...after disinfection and removal of some smell.
Felt really luxuriant and plush...soft with nice backbone and dense bristles too. Handle is very good in hand...I love this type. Result of face lathering with cream was great! Creamy and slick.
Shave with razor & blade combo was good. No issues at all. Smooth and comfortable. Sharpness can feel abit lesser but still comfortable. Compare to previous shave it is the problem of razor/blade combo. 3+1 multiple passes. Very nice and comfy with GC.84 & Tatra combo. No issues at all. Rating 9.3/10

RazoRock S/S Hawk V3-OC
Schick Proline [ 7 ]
Tuff Green A/S Lotion

Took out this RR Hawk Razor after a few with the A Plate version. There is no doubt that the OC delivers a very good Shave, but I feel more at home with the A Plate as a daily Shaver I sometime like to do back to back Shaves, for which it is well suited.

Good evening, I hope you're all well.

This evenings effort consisted of;

Pre- Myrsol Emulsion
Razor- Rockwell 6S (R4)
Blade- Gillette 7 O'clock Permasharp Stainless (5)
Soap- Signature Soaps Britannia
Brush- Ex Sh Medium Jock Synth
Post- Osma Alum block and Myrsol Emulsion

First time with this soap, the dominant scent is aniseed with the mint in the background.
Took quite a lot of water to get going but when it did the lather was great, very thick and an excellent long lasting scent.
This blade works well with the Rockwell 6S and I'm more than happy with two passes, with and against using the R4 plate.
A quick rub of alum produced a negligible amount of sting so more than happy with tonight's effort.

Stay safe, keep smiling.

3 very comfortable passes for a BBS finish, a nice slick lather from the ever reliable Tabac. a nice post shave leaving me clean, supple and smelling very 70's.
Another plus, after a bit of email tennis, about the cosmetic issue with the Rockwell Model T door closing, Rockwell saw it in their hearts to send me a new FOC razor which turned up today. Now that is what i call fantastic customer service. The issue does not affect the shave or Razor in any way it just niggled me when looking at it.
WELL DONE ROCKWELL

Razor: ATT S2
Blade: Feather (3)
Brush: Yaqi Sagrada Familia 2 Band
Soap: Proraso Red
Pre: Proraso Red
ASL: Proraso Red
ASB: Proraso Blue

Proraso Red was the first shave cream I used when I first started my traditional wet shaving journey. I like the smell of it and it always invokes happy memories of me and my 34C. It all worked together for an easy 2 pass shave. I tried the Kronos handle on the S2 today and much preferred it. The Atlas is beautiful but it's just a tad too short - even for my beautiful hands!

Razor: Gillette Super Adjustable 109 P1 (setting 3)
Blade: Nacet
Brush: Yaqi 24mm Synthetic Cashmere Knot
Soap: Saponficio Bignoli Liquizia e Menta
Post: Cold rinse
Balm: Nivea Sensitive

Yesterday I received four soap samples so over the coming days I will be working my way through them.

First try of a Saponficio Bignoli soap and chose the mixture of liquorice and mint through curiosity. The scent is noticeable on opening the sample and is maintained throughout the 3-pass shave. It lathered well and enabled a comfortable shave with no irritation. My judgement is out on the scent. A few more outings will be needed. As for Saponficio Bignoli, I was not disappointed, and would happily try another of their soaps.

SOTD 16th June
Soap - P&B Sanskrit - excellent performance and my favourite smelling soap bar none!
Brush - Yaqi Sagrada Familia - brilliant performer
Razor - Gillette Adjustable setting 7,5 and 3 - smooth and intuitive performer.
Blade - Gillette Wilkinson Sword - only ever been able to get this blade to work in my FrankenStar razor. OK 3 passes, sharp but not as smooth as my other Gillette blades and 2 weepers which are rare for me.
Post - Barts Balm Amber and Moroccan Jasmine - lovely scent and usual top notch post shave feel.
Take care people, stay safe and enjoy your shaves.
