SOTD : Saturday 13th June - Friday 19th June 2020

Razor: Gillette Super Adjustable 109 P1 (setting 3)
Blade: Nacet
Brush: Executive Shaving Medium Jock Synthetic
Soap: Edwin Jagger Limes & Pomegranate
Post: Cold rinse
Balm: Nivea Sensitive

Found some EJ limes soap at the back of the cupboard. Lathered up nicely and enabled a 2 pass DFS so a pleasant change from my usual rotation.

Now 9 Shaves in with this Razor/ Blade combo and in previous SOTD I have indicated how good I find it. It scores over a lot of Razors as not only is it good working around the upper lip/nose, but it clears the neck area very well every time without causing any irritation. I think I may just have to have another go with the OC version, to confirm my opinion of which version really suits me best.

Pre - Shower / Face wash / GFT Skin Food
Cream - TOBS Mr Taylor
Brush - Executive Big Jock Badger 30mm
Razor - MÜHLE R89
Blade - Wilkinson (6)
Post - Alum followed by moisturiser with SPF

I decided to try and bowl lather with this new brush. I usually face lather. It was OK, the brush just dominates the bowl as it's so big.
A three pass shave. I don't usually do a third pass on my moustache area, today I did and got a slight weeper. Comfortable shave with a few rougher than usual areas at the bottom of my neck.

A great result from 2 passes today, i then got greedy and completed some buffing, caught the bottom of my septum with a tiny nick, its been i while since i saw any blood during a shave. That's what you get when you take your eye off the ball. It was not a bleeder and a cold water rinse sorted it out. I then carried on to buff the devils whirlpools and attained the aforementioned BBS.
A nice post shave routine leaving feeling a smelling good.
Stay safe and enjoy your day All.

A very fine two pass shave this morning, effortless and efficient. The Simpson Manchurian hair is astonishingly soft at the tips, but also resilient enough to face lather as a Chubby should. I love this brush...and at this price point you really need to.

SOTD 15th June 2020

Razor - Paradigm SE
Blade - Schick Proline
Soap - Valobra Patcholi
Brush - Alpha Chubby fitted with a Maggards SHD two band silvertip knot
Post - Thayers astringent
Frag - Club de nuit - Armaf edt

A super smooth shave from the Paradigm / Proline combo, wonderful thick n slick lather from the Valobra Patcholi whipped to perfection with the Alpha Chubby.
To finish a spray or two of the intoxicating Club de nuit which arrived in the post today after being enabled by a fellow member! You know who you are!

Untill the next time, stay safe and well.

Paul.
