Schick type C repeating razor

Hi.

I recently purchased this razor.

Before I try to load a blade I had a few questions.

1. I think the magazine/blade tray is not the one that comes with this razor as stock.
I think it is the wrong colour.
Can I use it.
Any thoughts?

2. The magazine looks bent (see pics) should I avoid even trying to use it?

3. I am not sure if there is a blade stuck in the loading mechanism as it looks like I can see one peeking out near the razor head. (See pics)
What's the worst case scenario if I try to load a blade like this?

Ideally I want to use the repeating mechanism as that is the selling point to me.

I am thinking of emptying the internal magazine of old blades to a single new blade then trying to load.IMG_20191022_140732297.jpgIMG_20191022_140706359.jpgIMG_20191022_140658627.jpgIMG_20191022_140612261.jpg

The magazine looks to be about the right type, but it should be gilded. I'm presuming the third photo down is the mag. with a blade in it. It also looks bent, and it should have all straight lines in it.

As far as the possible stuck blade is concerned, I suggest this. Firstly, when the blade inserter (the slide with BLADE on it) is pushed all the way in, the very end of it fills that slot. You don't say whether the "stuck" photo was taken with the inserter pushed in or out, but, if it was in, when you pull it back/out, and the apparent obstruction disappears, then what you're seeing is the "push" end of the inserter slide. If it doesn't disappear, (or the slide was out anyway) then it is a stuck blade. I've not had to remove one, but I would think that it should be possible to push it out with, for example, another blade held safely with pliers. As previously suggested, there may be some more definitive solutions to a stuck blade elsewhere on the web.

I attach some quick shots of my Type C.

It was the slide after all.

I took the razor apart & had a good look at it.
