Claymore V2 or ATT SE1 or ?

One of my sons took a liking to my Claymore V2 so it went. :( Thought my ATT SE2 would suffice but am finding I would like another Claymore V2 (V3 much too expensive) or perhaps a Calypso or perhaps a ??? The Vector is very appealing but cost is prohibitive. So, your thoughts and recommendations on what to go for would be welcome.

Thanks, Micheal

I really like my SE1, almost as much as the Vector. However, I'm not sure that buying an SE1 would add much to your shaving experience, or results, if you already have the SE2. I'd save up and purchase a Vector, or get hold of a Claymore if you can find one. I would love to try out a V2 or V3 but have had no luck tracking one down.
Alternatively, buy your son an aluminium SE1, which is quite reasonably priced and shaves very well, and insist he return the Claymore to you.

I've actually considered what I could swap him for the Claymore but still pondering what he might like. Will now ponder some more.

I've got a Claymore V1 (which I love) and a Claymore V3 (which is way too aggressive for me). The General is almost as good as the Claymore V1, and a very similar shave.

Obviously been a mistake here ... the name is Micheal, not Rockefeller! ;) I'd probably be willing to swap my very nice cased Fatboy, an excellent condition Rhodium plated OC Aristocrat, plus whatever for a Cobra but I suspect it is not going to happen. However, it doesn't hurt to dream.

Keep looking. I picked up, separately, a Cobra and a King Cobra a couple of years ago second hand. It is doable and they are so worth it.

Yes ... I'll keep looking. Are Cobra and King Cobra fairly similar? New subject - is '49er' anything to do with San Francisco 49ers?

They have the same head but a significantly different handle. The King is much heavier and has an amazing non-slip handle. Both are excellent shaves.

And yes, from 1983 (for me) it is the San Francisco 49ers! Thank you for noticing.

I have a Claymore that I don't care about:

It is a Claymore V2 with Maggard MR7 handle.
Just do a reasonable offer and I'll send it to you (before the brexit ;) )
