Copycat Fragrance review thread

Hi All - i have been looking for reviews for Copycat Fragrances for a while and came across this page! For those of you who have purchased from CF, have your reviews changed since the initial purchase? Do these still last as long as initially tested? Are you still happy with the fragrances? I am torn between purchasing a mixed sample of fragrances or just diving right in and purchasing a few bottles that have been positively reviewed here (primarily the Oud and Executive fragrances)

Nudged by the latest posting here, I looked at the new frags and ordered myself 'Pehn' which is a clone of Penhaligon's 'Halfeti'. This was bought on the strength of the description as I have never tried the Penhaligon scent. This is a wonderful scent! Spicy/ woody in the main with lovely notes of rose and just enough oud to frame the sweetness.

As I say, I have no idea as to whether this is an accurate clone but I'm delighted to have purchased it!

what are your thoughts on these 3? I am considering getting myself same 3
They have gone on the shelf. I can say I love the Neroli and Executive from the sample pack and they did seem to last, I bought the Bleu as I used a sample of the original and liked it. I prefer musky citrus scents and these hit that mark. The Bleu and Executive are similar but very different when they settle. I am no expert and just go with how things smell. Your best bet is to get a sample pack.

I finally bit the bullet and purchased the below. I have to be honest and say when i sprayed these i was actually quite disappointed as they had an overpowering alcohol smell, however once this died down the scents were very pleasant and has actually lasted for most of the day.

Inspired by Bleu - have used a couple of times now. very similar to the original once it dies done
Inspired by Dior Sauvage - have the original however i haven't yet used this but will give an update once i try
ADP Colonia Intensa - this one was a pleasant surprise. i haven't smelled the original but i quite like the oud smell in this. this fragrance is almost identical to the beard oil which i have (https://theonecosmetix.com/produit/beard-oil-oud/)
Tom Ford Oud Wood- i havent smelled the original however i would say the silage for this isn't more than a couple of hours so this was slightly disappointing.

I was sent a sample of the Aventus cologne. Very harsh alcoholic opening and settled to a grapefruit type skin scent with very little projection for about 90 minutes.
My first and last from Copy cat.

I care for neither Sauvage nor Blue de Chanel so I didn't try the Copycat version. I love the Colonia Oud. If you get two hours out of the Copycat Oud Wood you are, believe me, getting much longer than the original which does about 10 minutes on me.
I notice they have a sale on atm and a clone of TF Lost Cherry is available. I love cherry scent so I might give it a go.

Actually, I'm currently wearing Dior Sauvage on my left wrist and CopyCats clone of it on my right. They are in fact almost identical. The opening of the clone is a little harsher and a tad fresher than Sauvage. I do think Sauvage is a slightly more well rounded scent than the copy however if someone was to walk past you with CopyCats version, the average nose would absolutely not be able to tell the difference. The longevity is fantastic too - this is a really incredible copy.
Bought DS from CC and i agree its almost identical, when i sprayed it my partner instantly said that someone in works wears the same one. (she didnt know it was a CC version). it lasts for the full working day and i can still smell it in the evening.

Trigger pulled, Ummd and Rr'd about the TV but the Darlin' don't like it!

just picking up on your comment re TV. i actually really liked it. ive been wearing it for 2 days (sample 5ml pack) and with just 2 sprays i can smell it throughout the day. it lasts easily 8 9 hours. woke up the next morning and still get a whiff of it. However, the wife did the same, she wasnt too sure about it and thought it was very feminine. something she would wear. Not sure if anyone watch's Jeremy Fragrance on Youtube, but the women he asked also said the same sort of thing

Also, has anyone bought any further fragrances from the CC website?

I have the "Executive" (Aventus inspired) fragrance. Leaving a shop on Friday I was asked "Are you wearing Creed?" by a guy about 10 feet away, probably downwind.

It confirms three things I already knew about it.

1. Most people cant tell the difference between Executive and Aventus.
2. Its strong - read; can be easily over-applied.
3. It garners more attention from males than females.

I still think it's a good substitute, especially at the cost of a bottle of actual Creed.

I have Executive, Bleu and Oud Intense and LOVE all 3. Very strong and last hours, so even more value for money. Wasn't fussed on samples of Vetiver Grey and Costa Azzurra but I'm still undecided on the TF Fabulous. But the 3 large bottles I bought I love and will keep on trying samples that tickle my fancy.
