Any blades you won't buy again?

I've decided this week to try out various blades that I've not used before. Unfortunately the only one that's been any good is supermax blue diamond.

Tried a Wilkinson sword, was OK but not worth buying again.

However today I have used the worst blade to date - Astra Superior Stainless. Horrible blade that didn't get close, but still managed to give me plenty of weepers, even on my cheeks, which was a first. Don't think much of the super platinum either, although it's well liked by some.

Tomorrow's choice is a Boots own brand Personna. I know it will be rubbish, but I've had them for ages and should give them a chance!

Still early days but definitely won't be finishing off the sample pack of Gillette 7 O'clock Yellows. 1st shave was ok but 2nd had more drag than a night out in Blackpool.
I would put them to one side a come back to them further down the line, they are not a bad blade for most, I quite like them finding them reasonably sharp and smooth. The more you shave the more your technique will improve and when it does give them another go.
Happy shaves.

Croma Diamants. Tried one in my Digress for one day, and it was like scraping my face with a tin can lid. They manage to be rough, blunt, and abrasive; all in one blade. Typical German blade.
Will I never learn? Rootling around in my blade drawer, I spied a packet of Croma Diamant blades, and stuck one in my Shavecraft 102.

I can safely say again that this blade is absolutely dreadful. I managed to get about 1 inch down the side of my face before I gave it up as a bad job and carried on with another razor. The only use I can think of for these things is in my paint scrapers.

3 months into DE shaving and feel brave enough to try a Feather in the morning for the first time. Wish me luck!
Feathers are the sharpest blade this side of Neptune. No one has ever waxed poetic about their smoothness -- they are not smooth, but they are very, very sharp. DO NOT USE ANY PRESSURE WHATSOEVER. You usually only have to show your stubble the blade for the stubble to surrender and fall out. And, they're only good for one or two shaves. Good luck. Vaya con Dios. :(
