What made your day a good one

Mini humbuckers. May be not full on with the gain levels but nothing the amp can't make up. Still that big bodied tone

I thought my long term Tokai LP gave me all I needed.......then stupidly picked this guitar up and thought 'shit'.
My son left a Tokai SG when he left home, said he didn't want it. Are they good guitars? I know nothing about guitars.

They are well respected and great guitars especially those made in Japan. The latter Korean Tokais are still good bits of kit but their values are considerably lesser.

You may well be able to top up your demi quickly if you were to sell.

Thanks for the reply. It needs a little luthier work before I can sell it. Nothing major, it needs a new nut as it is missing and also the bridge bit that fits on the pegs and holds the strings then new strings and a tune up. Shouldn't cost too much hopefully and then I will sell it and send him the money on.

Should say on the back of the headstock if it's Japanese or Korean

Always worth a clean and set up. Just don't get ripped for it.
I don't know anything about them mate so I'll be perfect for getting ripped off I'll be like a woman in Kwik Fit :D any help appreciated, feel free to PM me any advise to keep the mods happy.

Visiting my father after a month spell in hospital and finding out that after suffering a 10" fracture in his hip (which they originally missed!) he is recovering well at home. When asked by the social will your father be able to cook? All I could say is 'That man will never starve'.......glad to say 'he isn't' . He is still a pain in the ass, but be it so
