What Watch Are You Wearing Today?

My wife's late grandfather's watch serviced and on a new strap

A simple gold and brown colored Tissot, bought as an emergency watch to go with an outfit for a wedding but I have grown quite fond of its nothing-out-the-ordinariness (hmm I know there is a word for that, but am afraid I am experiencing some RAM access error here..)

Thanks Frankie, it's a perlon strap which is good for summer and very adjustable. The only drawback with this one is that it isn't very long. It's just about right for a 7 inch wrist, but any bigger and I doubt it would fit. I bought it from here:

Precista make some excellent watches that you don't have to take out a second mortgage for. This one is a particularly fine looking piece :) May I ask what the strap is? It looks very comfortable for summer.

His grand-dad used to be the king of the textile industry in Singapore, many years back. My friend now is a manager in a multinational company that relates to electronic office equipment and has of course an office in Singapore. He is a married man, very low profile and terrific, kind character.

He is a great AP fan and collects all sorts of AP-related memorabilia (desk and wall clocks, watch stands, pens, cufflinks, etc.)
He also maintains an extensive AP watch collection, with vintage and contemporary pieces.
The above piece has a WG case, carries abt 450 small-size diamonds and used to retail for £79k.
He got it used for £48k couple of years back.
