We walked into Market Weighton hoping to get a meal in one of the pubs but unfortunately none of them were doing food on a Tuesday, nor was the Goodmanham Arms so it was a baked potato in the takeaway for me. Some great country pubs down that neck of the woods.

I try to keep my pack down to around 30lbs but I don’t skimp on my shaving gear. I took an aluminium Gillette Tech for my bonce and face, Palmolive stick, Silvertip Fibre brush and a small container of balm. On my last trip I used cheap disposable razors and shaving oil, my skin was terrible by the end of the trip, think the oil blocked my pores or something, never again.
