Well where do i start
Pretty much thee worst artisan soap iv had the pleasure of using.
The Soap scent is absolutely top drawer & exactly how i hoped however the soap had zero residual slickness.
A 3 pass shave and my face was bone dry after every pass,
Quite weird considering the price.
I have Fitjar creams and rate them very highly but the soap doesn't cut it.
Obviously iv bought it so will give it another outing but initial thoughts are it’s very disappointing.
Never Mind tomorrow is another day

I can report though, that true to my word, I've been trying out the Signature soaps I received last Friday and they are all superb performers, great cushioning and pretty slick; each facilitating a great shave each time. I did think the Valentia would be the favourite scent, but happy to say that despite this being great, the Leodis just pips it for me. This only means one thing though, I will need to get the matching splash for it. I like them all, so they will be getting at least one more rotation through before other soaps come back into play.

Tried my best to match up some splashes and EDT for the soaps that I didn't have the splash for.

For consistency, I used my Tech set #27 with a Nacet blade and on day 4, I'm still pretty much BBS 4 hours or so later and thanks to the soaps, my face feels well conditioned. nice and smooth. Shall be using a different razor tomorrow though.

Viva la Vida, the A&E seemed to work wonders with the slightly grippy Hone 15s. To be honest it was barely noticeable today and gave a great shave. I’ve definitely got to grips with the shorter handle but the drag is still there. I was tempted to have it polished or coated but if it’s as good as today I think I’ll hold fire and use it as it for a bit longer as it was a great shave. I love this soap and have another reason to like it now!

I enjoyed the format so much I used it again tonight ... the brush brings up a really yogurt-thick lather from the vintage soap. Lovely!

Lovely scented soap with a rich creamy and slick lather...nice!!
This shave with the razor after going thru the 0.1um hanging pasted balsa and kanayama strop felt really good. Is it a placebo effect because somehow after the kanayama, the edge felt smoother & keener (2 days in a row)? Managed 2.5passes without any red spots for a ccs+/dfs finish. The matching aftershave was super...

I agree re. the scent. I used the puck directly on the face and lathered from that. I did find the lather to dissipate fairly quickly, however the slickness and residual slickness was top notch and the shave was lovely and smooth.

I found it airy and dissipated quickly too initially but I bowl lathered, and had a slow start to the day so did a longer lathering with it and it actually managed to produce a light creamy lather in the end, like a light HWF.
