I have never got on with them either , tried a few times.I must revisit the humble Astra SP as I never used to like them at all. Found ‘em a bit rough. Time to try again. Oh, oh, enabled!
I tried it when I first started shaving with a DE and I had poor technique, but having checked the razor, (its in a drawer to be binned) its decidedly average, slightly loose head and there's much better out there. I quickly upgraded to a Edwin Jagger Kelvin and didn't look back. But it's still a bargain the blades are cheap and cheerful, I still occasionally use them.@LeeMaz what are those butterfly razors like that come with these Solomon blades?
I assume mild or mild-mid aggression
Isn't the razor a Baili rebrand and effectively a Superspeed clone with tabs covered?I tried it when I first started shaving with a DE and I had poor technique, but having checked the razor, (its in a drawer to be binned) its decidedly average, slightly loose head and there's much better out there. I’m not sure I’d have to check, it wasn’t very good regardless.Isn't the razor a Baili rebrand and effectively a Superspeed clone with tabs covered?
I was just wondering, because if it's the DB279, the one i have is actually pretty decent. A little loose when open, but closes down tightly and shaves pretty much like a Tech.I’m not sure I’d have to check, it wasn’t very good regardless.
