Shaving Bowl Recommendation

Hey all, I managed to smash my ceramic shaving bowl this morning after it slipped out of my hand whilst I was cleaning it. Anyone got any recommendation for an unbreakable bowl I could replace it with?

Thanks!

I can highly recommend the Stirling Soap Co. travel bowl. Its a collapsible plastic bowl and very durable.
It's got some nubs built into the base which are great for helping build a lather. I think it's generally meant to be used with soap loaded on your brush first and that's how I've always used it, and to fantastic effect.
Its also relatively inexpensive. Definitely worth a look.

You should be able to get the bowls mentioned above cheaper on eBay - just search for collapsible silicon dog bowl. Got one and it works fine for building the lather but heard some horror stories of some badger brushes getting damaged due to the nobs being too high. Personally I prefer using timeless unbreakable bowl (hard plastic). Or I’m tempted to get captains choice copper bowl

I've tried this one: Doggy Direct Collapsible Slow Feeder Dog Bowl (Blue) creates a lather quick and easily but I found it a little on the small side for daily use. I have ordered the one below, it should be here tomorrow. Both from Amazon.

The bowl arrived today and my initial thoughts and observations are:

It is fairly flexible which may not be for everyone.
It doesn't have a flat bottom which I found inconvenient. I stood it in another bowl while not in use.
The smooth surface on the outside is slippery in some situations but I found it grippy enough in use.
The inner surface created a lather quickly and efficiently.

It won't be my favourite bowl but it has identified some elements I want from my "perfect" bowl. :)

In my very limited experience, out of the three bowls I have it is the best. I have a Captain's choice copy (ceramic) and the two silicon/rubber ones mentioned earlier. I like the slickness of the ceramic but the larger ridges/bobbles/lumpy bits produce the lather much quicker/easier.
Thanks for the response. I've been looking for a bowl like this.

Best,

Ben
