What Watch Are You Wearing Today?

Wow! I've always lusted after a Rolex explorer, but can't really justify the spend. How do you find that watch? It definitely looks the part :)
It does look the part, even the lume glows ice blue like the old Rolex. This one is a 40mm case 46.30 lug to lug sapphire crystal, its even got a glide lock clasp. My experience with this brand of watch hasn't been the kindest to be honest, I have this and there submariner.

Both watches was made in 2008 and only sold to me in 2021, and the lubrication in the watch movements had dried out, the movement is a Miyota and both movements needed replacing, the build quality is good With no plastic movement holder shit. Would I recommend them? No, they can be good watches but you'll need to be a watchmaker to get the best from them coz it's a lottery if you get a good movement or not.

Two spring bars, John ?
Did you drill the lugs to fit the top bar to disguise the gap between the bracelet and case ?

It looks very nice on the shark mesh
Sorry for my late response Paul, no hacking / drilling used, You just ignore the gap between bracelet and case, I should point out that the bracelet is a H Link Shark Mesh strap, since I've posted the same picture on watch forums the inner magpie syndrome is at work, questions, questions, questions, in about 2-3 weeks there will be pictures of steeldive 1970s on Shark mesh straps.

I just looked up the MSRP on that watch......

Haven't worn this in ages, don't know why as it's a great watch...
Love my DW5600.

I bought the repo when it came out, on a bit of a whim, and since then just wear it a lot as my everyday beater watch - because its so light and comfortable - its also relatively slim compared to most other G-shocks.

Apart from the fiddly buttons (which i never use) its a classic watch.
