They used to be, but with changes in tax regulations they are 20% more.

The cheapest deal I can find right now works out to £12.80 on Ali, but from Big Deal Smart, it's £13.15. I'd get the latter everytime, as it'd take a day to arrive when the ones from Ali can take weeks if not months.

Wow - just had a look and you're not kidding. They've gone up ~30% since I last bought seem even without including the VAT.

No, i started wet shaving last year when the lockdown started, so no chance to travel to Greece to try the Astor ones. But there is a chance that Astor and Chrome Platinum are actually the same. Astor package for the Greek market and Chrome for exporting them to other countries.

It has been said that the Astor is the same blade, but merely marketed in country (Greece). I have used several and cannot tell a difference. Both are great blades, albeit not for the neophyte.

I find the Supermax BDP to be a good blade which works better in a more efficient razor than a mild one, whereas the Gillette 7 Black I find to be a sharp blade suited to a mild razor, but for blades YMMV as ever.
 
It's unfortunate that I placed my second order of blades from them which arrived last weekend, of 140 blades of various types, and there was a five pack of London Bridge blades missing.
I messaged them over that weekend and a week later have not had a reply.
It's a shame as I'd like to order from them in future as their prices and selection are good, but what would happen if the whole package had gone missing?

To be fair to them they have now replied and advised they are processing the refund.
