Omega 11126 boar
P & B Citra Royale
RR Hawk V3-A plate
Schick Proline [ 6 ]
Pitralon Classic A/S Shave.

Same Razor/Blade today but varied the soap and things. This Scrubby looking boar is a delight to use, after years of use the tips are so soft when applying lather to the Face. Just proves you do not need to spend a fortune for a brush, when one like this is so good, the handle shape is good too.

First time using the slant in a while after using the de89 for a few months enjoying easy, smooth shaves.
The Voskhod was also a first, and holy moly, it was great!
I think I heard a few guys talking about how crappy they were and so, never touched em..but just goes to show! They really work in the Parker; incredibly smooth and sharp!

That Executive Shaving minty cream is also just amazing. I just bought a few other minty creams to test out as cheaper alternatives to it but ended up spending more than the cost of the ES anyway,
anyways, I'm a flippin idiot!

Rooney 3/2 Faux Horn Finest (24/54)
Floris Elite shaving soap (tallow)
LASSC BBS-1/Triad Aristocrat Black
Schick Super Chromium (4)
Floris Elite aftershave (vintage)

The Schick once again was rough, making the aftershave really sting, and I have plenty of razor blades, so the blade and its brethren went into the recycling.

Maybe not the most exciting choice but my Made In England Ball End Tech might be my favourite razor.

It's actually reasonably efficient than one might presume, and works well with more different types of blades than any other razor I own.

Today's shave and it was damn close. one where everything went just right . As Scottish Water are working in our area the water pressure was not sufficient to have a shower prior to shaving,so a warm face wash with L O'real cleansing gel.

Soap ........ Monsavon
Bowl ........ Steve Woodhead
Brush ....... Morris Forndran 2xl finest
Razor ....... Karve sb (d)
Blade ....... Nacet (1)
Asl .......... Hermes
Asb ......... Adp

Some of my favourite gear used for a 3 pass shave leaving me silky smooth and and the aftershave and balm finishing it off lovely. A really enjoyable me time 30 minutes was had.

Enjoy your shaves, keep smiling :)

French Pink Clay & Charcoal Face Soap
Wickham 1912 South Sea Spray Shaving Soap
Semogue SOC Butterscotch (Boar)
Muhle Rocca R95
SuperMax Titanium (2)
Alvarez Gomez Agua de Colonia

Second run with this new-style SuperMax Titanium and I had to ditch it afterwards! I'll explain why ...

Simply, while my first shave was a single pass with a lot of touch-up, this second shave required two passes to get as shaved as I am used to with my regular single pass routine. Upon relieving the razor of the blade, it was found to be unable to cut the skin on the top of my thumb, an area I use for testing blade sharpness.

That said ...

This is an exceptionally forgiving blade with very good smoothness. I could probably have gone on for a third shave quite happily if I was a multi-pass shaver, as I would be oblivious to its shortcomings as a single pass shaver.

That, I think is the key to this blade - it will deliver a very easy shave for literally everyone, certainly once, most likely twice (given most folks are multi-pass shavers or at least with the grain then against the grain) and very likely a third or more given that criteria. It's smoothness would mask any inefficiencies. I think if I were feeling a bit sensitive from a bad shave, I'd happily load one of these, enjoy a gentle shave and get myself back to normal, most likely ditching the blade after that one shave.

For that, it very much has its place.

Final thought: given the new equipment that SuperMax have, particularly their "new sputtered technology" which is used to apply the titanium and platinum edges to their blades, this is the blade that I think is the spirital successor to the SuperMax Blue Diamond Titanium.

EDIT: After an hour or two, I have to say that face-feel is really quite wonderful! I rather regret ditching it after two, so went to the blade to double-check and it is indeed not sharp enough to cut a test area that I use and the edge of the blade actually feels smooth when (somewhat foolishly) running a finger down it. It's done! But, curiously, could probably do another three pass shave without irritation. Go figure!

Nothing at all crappy about Voskhod blades - they're not as sharp as say, some Gillette offerings, but they're smooth and good for three shaves per blade.
They've performed flawlessly in every razor I've used them in. I found them to be my blade of choice in the Rockwell 6C.

Let's get one thing clear before we start - this soap only exists in my den because of @Bogeyman - a beautiful piece of long distance enabling.

First outing for the new 21st Century Fine American Blend. This soap smells like PAA CaD from the tub. It's a little bit of a different mixture once lathered though. Perhaps a bit more sweetness with an edge of oakmoss? Based on the scent, I'd be happy for it to exist alongside CaD in the den. In terms of performance, it's nothing special. I wouldn't say it performs any better than my other Italian croaps and it's a fair bit more expensive. It was the first use though. I'm going to give it a second outing to see if it performs better second time around.

What @Paul L said. I'm still working through a swathe of different blades I got in December, but the Voskhod is very much in the running to be my go-to. Decent performance for daily use - I'm yet to get a duff batch as has been suggested to be a regular occurrence, so maybe I'm still biased!
