Wash with French Pink Clay & Charcoal face soap
Lather up with the mighty Palmolive Shaivng Stick (Grated) & Semogue Owners Club Butterscotch (Boar)
Single pass shave with RazoRock German Slant & Super Gillette Blue (4)
Hot rinse, cold rinse, alum wash & Pinaud Clubman aftershave

I have had a very positive experience with these made in China/Vietnamese market Super Gillette Blues and would go so far as to say that I think this is probably the best double edge blade that I have used. I have awarded it a provisional 10/10 give that I am still trying it out with various setups, but it delivers a sharp and smooth shave with an almost imperceptible blade feel. It has done that for three shaves in the Muhle Rocca, so let's change tactics and switch out to a classic shaving soap and a slant razor ...

Delightful!

On it's fourth run in a slant, this blade is still doing it! I really would like to push it on to five shave, but I won't. I think it would do it, but I'm one of those fellows who pushes for four and often regrets it. The vast majority of blades only do three for my face. Special blades do four and I have only a small handful that I know I can reliably push for that. The shave was as smooth and even in the slant, the blade feel was very gentle indeed! It was a lot raspier in this razor, which is a sensation I do quite like.

My new Semogue is breaking in really quickly! I did a test lather with it yesterday, so today is the first proper go with it. I like him! He is a thirsty piggy but he's not hogging (geddit?) the lather quite as much as his sibling, the Taj that I also have. I think this brush is going to give me a lot of good shaves. I've named him Rutger

First time with any type of Stirling soap and I'm impressed with it. Only a quick 2 passes this evening as I thought the blade was on its way out and this proved to be the case.
This soap is probably the strongest menthol scented soap I've had so far and I think I'd definitely purchase another Stirling soap based on tonight's shave.
The Nacet isn't my favourite blade and I probably won't buy these again in the future.

So all in all a very close, smooth shave and an eye wateringly good feeling post shave.

Stay safe everyone.
