What Watch Are You Wearing Today?

My first Flightmaster was just a counter sale about 15 years ago and occasionally worn. John as you say it started to reappear on YT with millado on the Urban Gentry where it always appears in his "best of" lists despite slowly disappearing from dealers lists. I got a couple more and if anybody fancies one Long Island Watch company are still selling it don't pay crazy Ebay prices.
Definitely don't pay them Ebay prices once the rumours of the watch is going to be discontinued or will be they jack up the price and get quids in, although if a popular watch is going to get the chop and it's certified as so I've noticed the mile high prices appears within hours on Ebay knowing the stock in the shops will run out

Moon flight connections even more! Considering the kudos Omega with the Speedmaster and Bulova have wrung out of their watches association on early moon flights I'm surprised Seiko have never cashed in on the Pogue watch. Theres quite a few floating about on Ebay but its never appeared in their Recraft series. The same with watches on the Russian flights. From what I see of space station images G-Shock seems to have a monopoly these days.

Maybe Seiko looked at the current watch trends and looked at there past offering and figured that it probably wouldn't be worth the bother at the moment, having said that there is a few offerings from other brands revisiting the 1970s, on YouTube the just one more watch channel recently uploaded a Orient, This Watch Is GARBAGE video for instance so you never know that Seiko looks somewhat tempting.

Going back to the Speedmaster I dont think Omegas tinkering has improved the watch from a cosmetic view although I'll concede the internals have probably been improved. I think the latest version is now a chronometer.

Currently looking at a seiko skx007 and a monster and tuna liking the 007 ,but im a diver fan.
The prices are kind of steady on them at the moment.

I guess Omega have the Speedmaster just the way they like it, they're a persistent lot a tweak here a tweak there but not changing the formula to quickly.
