Good evening all

Brush- Dcosmetics Badger
Soap- TOBS Grapefruit
Razor- Rockwell 6S R2 and then R4
Blade- GSB #3
Post- Barts Grapefruit and Pink Pepper ASL

So those that are crazy enough to read my inane ramblings might know that I've been reversing the norm on my adjustable shaves by starting on a lower setting WTG and then going higher on the ATG and XTG passes.
This has been working for me excellently and I'm now getting my closest shaves with this little method of madness.
Stay safe everyone and have a great evening.

Hi, I tried the R2 WTG then R4 plate XTG /ATG system and it works! Thanks for sharing.

Shaving away with a theme named 'Another lazy SOTD where I can't be bothered to waffle away' (Life gets you this way sometimes)

I just - Brass Colonial General
Can't be - Schick Proline
Bothered my - Yaqi Dandelion
Arse to - Signature Soaps Londinium
Write anything - Penhaligon's Bayolea

Here have the usual Giphy except you can make up your own quipy (or not quipy) line

But I will say, one blindingly brilliant shave so have a video

SOTD gotta say I'm really disappointed with the one blade I had it before and sold it a long time ago on here always missed it so ordered another it's a nightmare blade chatters all over the place never had that with my previous v2 have got in touch with one blade but there customer service doesn't seem to be what it used to in responding and I seems the quality has gone down the pan too

Never had an issue with chatter with the one I owned in the past, and to be honest it delivered pretty damn good shaves. But it lacked everything in the spirit of shaving. Soul, life, skill, tact, effort, you name it, it wasn't a part of it. It took everything away from the pleasure of shaving

Moved it on before I suffered a death through boring shaves

Haha this one will be moving on right back to where it came from for a full refund utter rubbish how do you shave with a blade that moves around a good few ml and claim it's the world's best shaver. My other was good quality this is junk

I had the same query about the moving blade. Apparently it's correct - it's called the floating blade and is part of the design.

Have just been reading up on it and have read exactly as you say but this info seems to be referring to the V1 I had the V2 before with zero blade chatter and this thing seems to have a lot of play in it and it's the same genesis V2 I'm not convinced, you can hear the blade rattling around completely ruins that quality that it used to ooze with and makes it sound cheap and tacky will see if they get back to me but I think it's faulty the blade movement was causing niks. Appreciate the reply thanks @Boycie83

I do still have it but it's been a long time since I last used it. I've got the Core so it's the cheapskate version anyway.
Think I've heard it said before that the core does sound a little chattery compared to the genesis never had the core I did look at the new white hybrid and kinda wished I'd of gone with that now with the Genesis being so chattery anyway could have saved some money on my chattery shaver lol

Wash with French Pink Clay & Charcoal soap
Lather up with Wickham's 1912 Parma Violet & hjm Professional (Boar) 25mm
Shave with RazoRock German Slant & Gillette London Bridge Super Stainless (3)
Hot rinse, cold rinse & Puig Quorum Aftershave

What a great shave! Third run with the London Bridge and it seemed to really like the slant. Maybe it's at its smoothest, maybe it was the razor. Single pass joy!

This arrangement was brought to you by feline pogotonomy paraphernalia stylist Elias Quisiva ...
