Looking for Chanel de bleu soap recommendations I know wickhams did one but seems unavailable now would like to pick it up if I can find one but does anyone know any other soaps based on this scent ? Any input would be greatly appreciated

I've not tried any of the Pinnacle Grooming soaps but @karlc has. They do a Bleu dupe:

Ahh will have a look thank you

edit had a look sounds good but not sure I could cope with the artwork lol a giant chipmunk on the front is lacking a little for me haha thank you though always worth a look might even be worth me putting it in another container though if it's a good soap and close scent

Any plans on bringing it back haven't tried one of you're soap bases yet will do though when the right scent catches my eye

It's available here and here only. Matching splash available too.

Thank you much appreciated

Wichkam did a "Le Bleu" special edition. It was an ATG special, so perhaps a post on BST there?

It's now being made for and solely available from West Coast Shaving.

Funny you say that I stumbled across it last night at WCS unintentionally so I think it's going to have to be the wickhams even if it does cost more, one thing I don't really understand though is why a British soap maker would want to make it exclusively available in another country meaning we pay more than everyone else for one of our own products may have to do some thinking and I could well be that I leave it not because I won't pay shipping but because it started out here to be sent away and back to me for a premium seems a bit daft, notice wickhams isn't the only one doing this with limited runs

They'll sell to wherever there is demand which is perfectly reasonable from a business perspective. If there's enough demand in the UK, I'm sure Darron (Wickham Soaps) would make it available to UK suppliers. He does make special releases for the Gentleman's Groom Room in Dundee

Thanks for your reply was going to say that I know that the gentleman's groom room have exclusives but I don't mind that it a UK based vendor but I do think making it available to only overseas customers after it has already been available here is a bit off

Darron also makes a soap exclusively for Pasteur's, Union Square and I'm sure those in the US feel the same about stuff made and available exclusively for and from the Groom Room
Just think it's a little off I would have to pay the export charges factored in to the price of the soap then pay import charges to bring it back plus shipping and handling for a soap that is made here, also I could be wrong but I don't know of any American artisans who only sell soap to the UK. I like to support my local small businesses and love wickhams their soap is excellent but that seems a bit daft
