Prep: Valobra Glycerlanolina soap, Myrsol Emulsion
Brush: M&F / Brad Sears Finest Badger
Soap: I Coloniali
Razor: Wolfman WR1
Blade: NOS Gillette Spoiler (5)
Post: Thursday Plantation Tea Tree & Witch Hazel, Musgo Real Aftershave Balm
Scent: Guerlain L'Homme Ideal

Simply beautiful lather from the I Coloniali soap. As thirsty as they come, once this soap is adequately hydrated, it can duke it out with the best in the business.
Three very comfortable passes for a BBS result.

20/9/19

Soap - Arko
Brush - Omega 10075
Razor - Ball End Tech
Blade - Lord Platinum (2)
Post - Witch Hazel/Alum
Balm - Nivea Replenishing
AS - Brut Oceans

A rare shave where it didn't really click. I added a bit too much water during building the lather and it lacked cushion, and the blade bit a few times during the shave.

Much better shave today! The 2 dot plate definitely the one for me. shave1.gif
3 Full passes WTG,XTG & ATG, which i don't mind as long as the finish is good. Today it was.
The Simpson synth holding enough of the bloomed Arran soap for the 3 passes. Nunchuck.gif
The post shave very comfortable, nothing from the block, the matching balm working well, on went the splash all very nice.
DFS+ Finish, soft and supple and smelling fresh, crisp and clean.
Next week - my favorite razors have reached the top of the rotation list, looking forward to it. clap.gif
Have a great Day and weekend All

So after yesterday super close shave i needed to change my plans today, the GC-OC was replaced with the AS-D2, i also took the opportunity to give the New Alpha Titanium G4 Synth its first run out, a very nice looking brush.

After showering I used the Proraso Green as a pre shave for the first time, massaging it in and leaving it to be adsorbed into the skin and stubble while i set about preparing the rest of the shave, The OSP had been blooming while in the shower, the new brush is a soap hoover, lots of backbone picking up copious amounts in no time, i set about face lathering and had to give the brush a dip on the first application as the soap needed it, the brush is really nice on the face and gave me a really good covering and easily holding enough for 3 passes.
The AS-D2 just works for me, oh so very comfortable and efficient, i only need 2 passes WTG and a mixed 2nd pass leaving me BBS and super comfortable. I will try some "sharper" blades in as the months go by, although the 7OC Yellow is working well.
Post shave started with the cold water splash face freeze, more Proraso Green and a splash of OSP.
That was a really nice shave.
Have a great day All

I use Gillette 7 o'clock Yellow in my Feather AS-D2, they are excellent in my opinion. PS nice brush.
