New custom handle
A retired engineer friend has made this brass handle for me.
I have a question for you should I leave this handle brass colour or have it chrome plated ? I'm going to use it with my Edwin Jagger head. ![]() ![]() Handle now Chrome plated .. ![]() ![]() Brian |

RE: New custom handle
That looks very nice.
Whether you leave it brass or plate it is entirely up to you, personally I think I would have it plated to match. |

RE: New custom handle
That's lovely, plating is really your choice. I think with the chromed head it will look great. Nickel will be a good enough match, as I'm not sure where you could get it chrome plated.
If I agreed with you we’d both be wrong DE shaving since 14 April 2011 |

RE: New custom handle
Lovely handle, Its your choice if you want to get it plated, personally I'd get it plated, but that's just me
Why didn't I learn to shave like this in the first place? |

RE: New custom handle
That is a beauty! I'm with the others, get it chrome plated to match. It's a shame that Daz doesn't seem to be around much these days as he made gorgeous handles and after the sadness of having to sell the first one he made me, I'd love to commission another. He's a damn fine bloke and I just hope all is well with him.

Thanks for all the replies I'm going to get it plated. I will have to give it a spin on the razor for a couple or three shaves over the weekend ! Regards Brian |

RE: New custom handle
Brian, get Dave at restored razor's to plate it in Rhodium with a gold bottom (to the top of the 3rd ring) you would of course have to plate the razor head.
:-) That would look good with a Stahly head, your name on the pass round? |
