RE: Ladies' razors
It's how I imagine a giant would feel using a DE razor. I must admit the pictures did make me laugh.
I want SWMBO to try a DE as I think she would like it, but as she put it she "ain't interested in your (my) shaving crap!". |

RE: Ladies' razors
SWMBO successfully uses an octagonal ivory handled Jagger DE with TOBS rose cream and Jagger Super Badger brush. She finishes off with witch hazel that's had a few drops of Lavender EO added to it and rather enjoys the whole process. Good results with no irritation and so much cheaper on the blades. She's not interested in shaving crap in the slightest, just as long as the kit she has continues to perform as it does she'll be very happy. The rate she uses the cream at, it'll be late 2015 before she needs more and the 200 Personna Platinum Chrome may well see her into old age!

RE: Ladies' razors
i treated swmbo to her birthyear gillette, its one of those stars ones, hers is blue but there was a pink version too. it has a nice long handle, to help stretch to the bottom of the legs i suppose & looks really nice, but sadly she only used it a couple of times

It's on sale with a bunch of normal DEs, if anyone's interesting in engaging in the bidding war I can send a link. Yankee land though. |

Firstly, they don't shave every day (far less in fact) so dedication to mastering a difficult technique may not be what us guys, who must shave most days, would devote. Secondly, the process for those who don't see and enjoy daily benefits may seem laborious and overly-fussy. Thirdly, DE razors are rarely produced in pink or aqua. “I’m kind of a big deal.” |

Then it's back to the cartridges. I've not given up yet, though But this sort of contraption would've been invaluable in the arsenal, as it's not the legs that are usually an issue with them switching to DEs.

RE: Ladies' razors
The other half uses my EJ89. She's getting a better result with it than the disposables, which is just as well given the amount of blood that's on the bathroom floor. She's persevering though.
