YSL Kouros Silver

What did you make of it?

I popped into John Lewis earlier to have a sniff. It's a fairly pleasant scent but I thought it was very generic. It reminds me a lot of one of the Bulgari scents. It smells too clean to me. Not very Kouros-y but I suppose it's not intended to be. The 50ml bottle was only £30 odd but even the smashing blouse the YSL girl had on wasn't enough to sway me. It's grown on me as it's developed but lacks something that peaks my interest.
 
As a Kouros fan for (cough) 3 decades and having read the notes on Basenotes, I'll be giving this a sure miss. I'm currently cradling a just received vintage NOS 'bath' soap - why did they stop making that?!
