What has happened to yardleys? Its touted as one of the BEST lavender scents ever made, and one of the best actual SOAP bases in the 1900s.

I put a bid on, I believe a 1950s Yardley soap in bowl last night. Feel excited. I don't care for lavender, and the main experiences I have with lavender is my mother using the modern yardleys lavender soap while getting drunk on cheap ass vodka in the tub once or twice a week.

Due to the age, I think its a good thing to try.

All I can find is a Yardley branding tube of shaving cream for ladies.

I think on the bay the sell them. Coming from India.

Its talked about on their official website, but says "find a local distributor". And they have talk of a cocoa butter bath soap that "has lather worthy of shaving with"

Always hear about them but was never able to try one. I am curious to see how they perform.
