Xmas brush options

I'm thinking of getting my bro some DE shaving kit for xmas. I'm not sure if he'll take to it so I was thinking of the cheaper end of the market.

I'm thinking of the Boots DE and Parmolive stick, though I'm open to alternate suggestions.

I'm looking for recommendations for a brush suitable for face lathering.

If you are sticking to a cheaper brush that will do the job for about £10 scroll down to the bristle/badger Vulfix 404 at £10.20. Diamond Edge also offer a 10% discount to TSR members. The 404 mix is the best face lathering brush I've come across at its price.

I can recommend the "Wilkinson classic" razor for a cheap test out starter razor , its what i started with , and the brush listed below is a good starter , but the handle is plastic and hollow ,very light weight , the brush is pretty good , not much back bone , but im still using mine :)
