Wrong Razor/Blade combo!

Well, i thought i'de dive into the SE world of shaving, but seems i've made a bit of a mistake!

I bought from ebay i think an American made 1912, and some GEM blades from Connaught - but they dont go together!

What blade or razor should they go in!!

Might be a good opportunity to buy some more stuff!

I could be wrong, but, I think you have to pull off the metal spine and clip the rear corners off so that those blades the 1912 razor.

I think that those blades should fit that razor.
There should be two notches, one on each side, near the bottom of the comb that the blade fits into.
As the are very small, they often brake off or wear off and the razor isn't safe to use without them.
