Are there any longevity issues with wooden handled brushes, I have ordered one on a Semogue boar (1800), so I guess the knot will give up before the handle... or will it?

Depends where you are in the World, i.e termites etc :s:icon_eek:

Should be fine as long as you only soak the bristles
