Williams Mug Shaving Soap

Today I tried this Williams Mug Shaving Soap, what a nice, rich and quality lather it produced!! using my Vulfix 404. so easy to produce a good lather. and does exactly the same on the box. Long lasting, not drying lather.
very good product, would recommend to all soap users.

Scent is very weak, clean natural soap smell. With some people it may create the arko stick effect but its nowhere near as strong as arko, however I like the smell of arko, I can't say it smells like arko but its that clean soap smell like arko and lea stick.
Shame its not available in the UK

I think there are different versions and the packaging and inclusion of tallow doesn't guarantee you have the right one. The only one I tried was terrible - easy quick lather with the endurance and protection of washing up liquid. The smell was a faint non-descript soapy smell

I've read if you can pick up vintage then it's good, if you get the new stuff, you might as well buy a blue Wilky bowl

True, I guess I'm lucky that I have a CONUS mailing address while I live in the UK. Best of both worlds really.
