Mmm - the subject title just about covers it.
I've a couple of Empires and a Wilkinson 7 day set. I know I can run a de-spined GEM (and possibly a Feather SE) in the Empires; not so the 7 day set.
The thing is, I have some hollow grounds which (based on the thumbnail test) have quite an edge; ditto most of the 7 day set. The strops I have are reasonable but may not be enough.
I'd love to have a go with the original blades but don't have a clue where to start: Taped spine, Belgian blue whetstone, lapping film, hanging hair test. All sounds a bit Ian Dury.
A video tutorial for these blades would be a Godsend ...
