Why a second razor?

if you have one razor but send it off what you going to shave with?

personally id rather keep a spare. the blades on straights are very brittle

I thought you got 7 so you could arrange them in a pyramid thus harnessing the mighty sharpening powers of the pharaoh. (Plus one to use while the others are off being honed)
