Which pen/stylus for ipad?

I m looking at some handwriting recognition apps which can store handwriting notes on an ipad or transfer them into text for emails, etc.

In order to do so i would need a pen/stylus.

I would prefer one with a fine tip since i will be doing more writing than drawing or sketching, so a "thick" round rubber end would not be suitable.

Has any of you gents used one? Any suggestions?

The apps used will be in the likes of "memo" , "notes plus", etc

I'm looking for a stylus to use with Brushes (much like Hockney) so I've watched a few Youtube videos. Here's one which might be of interest to you ... although it may send you to sleep. I managed a couple of minutes, but then I'm not in the market for a note-type stylus.
